The idea of establishing Electoral Law Enforcement Paralegals was initiated by the Association for Elections and Democracy (Perludem) in collaboration with the Legal Aid Institutes (LBH) of Aceh, Jakarta, Surabaya, and Makassar, with support from The Asia Foundation. The initiative aims to facilitate public participation in election oversight and electoral law enforcement.
